The Egyptian-Liberian relations started in 1957, when both countries started diplomatic ties, in 1959 the first ever Egyptian Ambassador arrived to Monrovia. Moreover, a Liberian Embassy is present in Cairo on an ambassadorial level, and is one of the very few Liberian embassies in the region.
